By creating an account or using CardLocker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
CardLocker is an inventory and collection management tool for trading card collectors. It allows users to catalog cards, estimate market values, manage physical storage locations, and trade with other users.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You retain ownership of any card images, descriptions, and data you upload. By uploading content, you grant CardLocker a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store and display it within the App, including to other users when you list a card for trade. The trade-display license ends when you remove the listing or delete the content. We may retain backup copies for a limited period as described in our Privacy Policy.
CardLocker facilitates communication and trade proposals between users but is not a party to any trade. We do not guarantee the condition, authenticity, or value of any card exchanged, and are not responsible for disputes arising from trades between users. If you are under 18, you may list cards for trade only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
Estimated card values shown in the App are for informational purposes only and are not appraisals or guarantees of resale value. Estimates are derived from third-party data sources and automated analysis, which may include image-hosting services, computer-vision identification, marketplace sold-comparable data, optional grading-certification lookups, and payment processing. CardLocker is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PSA, SGC, BGS, CGC, Card Ladder, Sports Card Investor, or any grading company or pricing provider. Certification metadata is provided by those services under their own terms and is not republished as official values.
CardLocker's AI Pre-Grading feature provides a predicted grade estimate based on photo analysis of your card. This estimate is for pre-submission screening purposes only and is not an official, certified, or professional grade.
CardLocker is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator), BGS (Beckett Grading Services), CGC (Certified Guaranty Company), SGC (Sportscard Guaranty Corporation), TAG (Technical Authentication and Grading), or any other professional grading company. All trademarks and trade names referenced are the property of their respective owners.
Card grading is subjective and depends on the professional service's standards, human judgment, equipment, and in-hand inspection. AI-predicted grades are estimates and may differ from the grade a professional service assigns. Sleeves, holders, glare, shadows, image compression, foil patterns, and defects not visible in the submitted photo can all affect an in-hand grade. No grade, authenticity, value, sale price, or return on grading costs is guaranteed. Always inspect a card in hand before buying, selling, insuring, or submitting it for professional grading.
The App may provide links to third-party marketplaces to help you list or sell your cards. CardLocker does not process sales, handle payments, or fulfill transactions on these platforms, and is not a party to any sale. Once you follow a link to a marketplace, that transaction is governed by the marketplace's own terms of service, fees, and policies. We are not responsible for listings, buyer disputes, lost shipments, fees, or any outcome of a sale conducted on a third-party platform, and we make no guarantee that your card will sell or at what price.
Web subscriptions are billed through Base44 Payments. Subscription fees are charged on a recurring basis according to the plan you select and can be managed or cancelled from your Settings page. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, those subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google respectively and governed by their terms and refund policies. This app's store build does not sell subscriptions in-app. Refunds for web billing are issued at our discretion for billing errors. As required by law, you may have statutory rights that cannot be waived by this policy.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the App. In jurisdictions that require a higher age of digital consent (up to 16 under GDPR, depending on member state), that higher age applies. Paid subscriptions require the account holder to be 18 or older, or to have parent or legal guardian consent. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under the applicable age without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information as soon as possible.
You agree not to misuse the App, including: listing stolen or counterfeit cards, harassing other users, attempting to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service, or using the App for any unlawful activity. Automated identification (such as scanner results) are estimates that you can review and edit; you are responsible for the accuracy of the data you save. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
CardLocker is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any card manufacturer, brand, game publisher, or grading company, including without limitation trading-card manufacturers and grading companies. All product names, brands, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are referenced on the App for identification purposes only.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CardLocker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including losses related to trades, estimated values, or data stored in the App. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, gross negligence, or willful misconduct where prohibited by law, nor excludes any statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on the App infringes your copyright, please submit a takedown notice to our designated copyright agent at legal@cardlocker.com with: (a) your physical or electronic signature, (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, (c) the URL or location of the infringing material, (d) your contact information, and (e) a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized. We will review and remove infringing content where appropriate. If your content was removed and you believe it was in error, you may submit a counter-notice using the same contact.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may delete your account at any time from Account Deletion. Elite plan subscribers can export their collection data as CSV before deletion. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including fraudulent trading activity or abuse of other users. Upon termination, you may export your data before your account is deleted.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. For significant changes, we will provide notice via email or an in-app banner before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts located in Colorado. CardLocker is operated by Clocker LLC.
